A cycle will cover approximately 10,000 human hours. Use that as a guide to compare to your species/faction's time system. Each real day will not cover any particular amount of a cycle, and the cycles are only used as a means to keep everyone roughly in the same place in time, roleplay wise.

The First Cycle has begun.
